Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to invite you to the 30th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Indian National Association for Study of the Liver (INASL-2022), which will be held from 4th to 7th August 2022 at Hotel Andaz – A Concept by Hyatt, Aerocity, New Delhi. We are as excited and delighted as you all are to welcome you to this physical meeting after a gap of more than two years.
This scientific meeting will be attended by approximately 200 International and National faculty, and more than 1500 delegates from different parts of the country and from abroad.
The first half-day of the meeting (Thursday, 4th August, 2022 afternoon) will be dedicated to the single theme symposium on ‘Portal Hypertension’ with many national and international experts of BAVENO VII consensus participating in the symposium with Prof Shiv K. Sarin being the course director.
The Second day (Friday, 5th August) would be the ‘Postgraduate Course’ with International and National Speakers covering important topics including Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, Alcohol-Associated Liver Disease, Acute Liver Failure, Acute-on-Chronic Liver Failure, Vascular Disorders of the Liver, Hepatocellular carcinoma, Nutrition in Liver Disease, Pediatric Hepatology and Surgical Hepatology including Liver Transplantation. The theme of the PG course is ‘Decision Making in Hepatology’ with major attraction being the ‘Liver Clinics’ by Prof Patrick Kamath who would also be the course director for the PG course.
Over next one and half days (6th and 7th August), the meeting would have the morning ‘Special Interest Group (SIG)’ meetings and discussions on the recent developments in Hepatobiliary diseases including Pediatric Hepatology and Liver Transplantation. Plenary sessions, Young-Investigator sessions (separate for basic scientists and clinicians), Dr DV Datta oration, Dr SR Naik Oration and Dr N Madangopal oration would be the added attractions.
This time we are promoting the participation from Students/Trainees (MD, DM, DNB and PhDs) whose abstracts are accepted for oral or poster presentation; they will be provided ‘Complimentary “Registration’ for the conference. Complimentary registration would also be applicable to international delegates whose abstracts are accepted for presentation during the 30th Annual Scientific Meeting of INASL. National researchers selected for Oral Presentations (Plenary or Young-Investigator) would also be eligible for the Travel Fellowships (Economy class travel).
Whether you are a young investigator, clinician, basic scientist, or a researcher, you will get the latest update in your specialty to broaden your horizons in Hepatology at INASL-2022.
